In their final road midweek game of the season, the Fighting Illini softball team was powered by 11 hits and a one-hitter from Tori McQueen to down DePaul 6-1 Wednesday afternoon at Cacciatore Stadium. The Illini have a 5-0-2 record in Big Ten series this season, with series victories over Minnesota, Wisconsin, Rutgers, Iowa, and now Indiana, while splitting series with Purdue and Northwestern. Illinois won their fifth-straight weekend series against Indiana, winning the first two games of the series before dropping an 11-inning heartbreaker in the series finale. The team will celebrate their favorite University of Illinois professors on Wednesday night, naming their 'Most Valuable Professors.'
